We market our genetics primarily by private treaty, offering a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to tour our farm and study our breeding program. Whether your interests lie in Fleckvieh, Belted Galloways, or our newest addition—Highlands—you’ll find a wide range of genetic diversity. From semen and embryos to live cattle, we offer numerous outcross options designed to introduce fresh, productive bloodlines into your program.
Established in 1982, Four Starr Genetics has witnessed many phases of the cattle industry. We committed early to the Fleckvieh breed for its strong influence and practical value for the commercial buyer. Raised in the heart of the Ozarks on fescue-based forage, our cattle are easy-keeping, fertile, fast-gaining, efficient beef animals with excellent maternal traits. We continue to utilize many of the foundational bulls from the 1970s, when German and Austrian programs emphasized muscle and beef production. Today, our herd includes 150 Fleckvieh-based fullbloods, along with a select group of high-percentage black Fleckviehs—proven cattle that continue to work for our customers.
